In keeping with the teaching and practice of the first century church in the New Testament, Spirit & Truth Church and Ministries will be financially supported by the voluntary giving of its members. The Apostle Paul instructs the Church at Corinth to lay something aside on the first day of each week so that their offerings could ultimately be taken to the temple. He later instructs them to give as they have purposed in their heart to give, and to do so with a cheerful heart.
Therefore, it is our belief that disciples of Jesus Christ need NOT be compelled or pressured into giving; but that they should be joyous about the opportunity to give offerings unto the Lord for the work of the ministry. Further, the scriptural record lays out no other means of provision for the New Testament church outside of the giving of offerings; so this will be the sole source of provision for Spirit & Truth Church and Ministries
